Food-Issue Friday: Lyke a (Bed)Rock

"Twenty years now. Where'd they go? Twenty years. I don't know." ~  Bob Seger, "Like a Rock"

1994 Lyke's Braves: Steve Bedrosian

It's amazing how just a few bad outings can wreck a reliever's numbers for a season. Steve Bedrosian's 1994 campaign was one such season.

Having come off a 1993 season in which he went 5-2 with an 0.966 WHIP and an adjusted ERA+ of 248, Bedrock appeared in 46 innings in 46 games a year later. And while his 3.33 ERA for the '94 season wasn't horrible, it would have been another stellar year for the former N.L. Cy Young award winner, had it not been for four outings in which he allowed twelve runs over three combined innings.
