One Score and Zero Years Ago: The 1994 Donruss Braves

Leaf made significant changes to its Donruss brand for the 1994 baseball season. What had been a bloated, uninspiring set in 1993 became a smaller, premium looking set which featured borderless, full-bleed photos and just enough gold-foil stamping to rival competitors Fleer (Ultra) and Topps (Stadium Club), as well as its own Leaf product. Photos once again dominate the front and backs of the cards, just as in the '93 set.

The Braves team set includes the typical names found among the various manufacturers during the 1994 season. There are no rookie cards among the team set.

Favorite Card Front:

There's really nothing special about this card, other than it looks as if Bedrosian is looking up in the crowd during the middle of his delivery.

Favorite Card Back:

Great photo of "Doggie"

  1. coincides with my list.... I'm only missing #626, plus all of the inserts. Including that nasty DK

    1. #626 Shows Gallagher as a Met, but says Braves on it
